World Heli Challenge Freeride Day

The World Heli Challenge is a unique Big Mountain freeride / freeski event held in New Zealand. It was from 1995-2001, up before 911 came around and the event lost its international sponsorship. It consists of three days of helicopter accessed competition and is held over a 2 week period to ensure perfect weather. This years "Resurrection" was epic and certainly stamped its name again as one of the best events on the international event scene. This is the Freeride Day - testing just how good an athlete can link freestyle moves in a back country environment.
